The famous “Jai Mata Di” group of N block ladies celebrated Holi Milan on the 4 Mar, 2023, from 4.30 to 6.30 pm.
The venue was the Central Park which is maintained by the N block Welfare Association which also provided the logistic support to organize the Milan.
A makeshift mandir with a picture of Radha-Krishna was made on a slide by the gardener.
Prasad, procured from the collective contribution of the ladies was placed on a table.
About 60 ladies gathered in the park at 4.30 pm and started applying chandan tilak to each other. Shashi Bhandari gave perfumed cotton to everyone. Melodious bhajans were sung by these talented ladies filling the atmosphere with bliss.
Pawan Mahajan put a bit of gulal on the faces of all the ladies while the bhajans were on. Mrs Bhandari distributed toffees.
Towards the end Pawan ji asked everyone to chant Aum and then she recited a powerful mantra for the wellbeing of the entire world. All the ladies repeated the mantra after her.
The finale is always the Aarti followed by Prasad distribution. Piping hot coffee was served to all.
