In urban landscapes where green spaces are scarce, terrace gardens offer a breath of fresh air, quite literally. As concrete jungles expand, individuals and communities are increasingly turning to their rooftops to create vibrant oases of greenery. Terrace gardens not only beautify the surroundings but also provide a host of ecological, social, and psychological benefits.
At their core, terrace gardens are a testament to human ingenuity and the desire to reconnect with nature despite living in densely populated areas. Whether it’s a small balcony or a sprawling rooftop, any space can be transformed into a lush garden with the right planning and care.
My terrace garden is my Oasis. It’s my happy & peaceful space. Each time, I go up and see the flowers – it puts a smile on my face. The Lilies, the Tulips, the Bougainvillea, The Petunias, The Chrysanthemums… the list is endless thanks to my Gardener and his team, who work really hard to look after it all.
Even though the winters are now a very short period in Delhi… But the leisurely winter lunches on the terrace, or then sitting out in the evenings, when the weather is just perfect… The feeling and those times… are just Priceless!
