I am a little girl who loves the wonderful things that this world has to offer. My hobbies are dancing, acting, & reading. Recently, I have started learning music.
This year’s winter vacation was fun. During this time, I experienced several new things and visited many exciting places.
The vacation started with a two-day visit to my grandparent’s place where I met my younger cousin, Ravya and her friends. I had fun even though I fell down while running and hurt my knees!
The next day, my family and a couple of friends visited an adventure park, Rangmanch, which offered 80+ adventure activities such as Sky Cycling, Tyre Wall Climbing, Water Zorbing, Wire Crossing, Camel ride etc.
I did almost all of them. I must confess that some of them frightened me initially but once I learnt the tricks, I enjoyed the thrill and adventure they offered. It was a day well spent, packed with enough of experiential learning and testing my physical fitness levels.
I also read books such as Dork Diaries by Rachel Renée Russell, The Magical Finger and Matilda by Roald Dahl, The Battle of Crystal Castle by Geronimo Stilton during the chilly winter vacation!
On New Year’s Eve, my friends and I had a small house party after which we danced and danced at the DJ party that was organised in our society.
On Wednesday, 3 January, we set out for a road trip to Rishikesh. We had a mesmerising experience of the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. We also visited the Neelkanth Temple: the place where Lord Shiva consumed the poison that originated from the sea when Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Demons) churned the ocean in order to obtain Amrit.
Overall, it was a great vacation packed with travel, family time, learning, yummy food and loads of reading.
