Maxblis White House Senior Citizen 60+ Yearly Function was celebrated on February 11.This group has 36 members in which 50% are ladies. The group has completed one year and it was decided by the organising committee that annual function will be celebrated at a large scale.
This function was celebrated in J tower club of our society. The senior citizens requested Singh Basra ji to invite their three singer friends. The function started at 01:00 PM after diya lighting ceremony by the senior most citizen Prem Shankar Singhal ji and Kailash Malpani ji. A brefing about this group was given by a senior member. Cake was also cut on this occasion.
A wonderful gathering of 50 people made the occasion enjoyable. Cultural programme was beautifully anchored and coordinated by a young lady resident of society. Our guests, two male singers – Vijaya Kumar ji and Ajay Kumar ji and a lady singer Dr Ragini ji sang many beautiful songs and the people enjoyed the function very much.
There are many talented singers in the Society who mesmerized the audience with their melodious songs. Names of these singers are Mr and Mrs M M Gautam, Mr and Mrs Dushyant Kumar, Mr and Mrs Omkar Basra, Col K K Saxena, Avedesh Upadhiya, Malti Bhatnagar,Mr and Mrs P S Singhal, Mr Maheshwari and Swati Singh (Anchor and Singer). A few children presented dance performances as well. At the end, sumptuous lunch was served to all the guests and the participants. Group members are very thankful to our three guest singers and these guests were also very happy to see society talented singers.
