The October meeting of our club was a musical one. Music is an important part of our life as it gives us pleasure and relieves stress. We all understand the language of music. When we hear a song that we like, our brain engenders feelings of enjoyment.
We had the opportunity of listening to some very good songs by Alok Sahadev. A graduate of Delhi IIT, his unyielding desire to excel in music led him to receive training in classical and light music from the tender age of 5. He had the opportunity of refining his skills under the guidance of several gurus, including Shri Choteylal ji Maharaj. His journey as a professional singer owes much to the influence and inspiration of Padam Shree Jawahar Watal. His journey as an artist has been long and rewarding.
