The Festival concluded with a musical evening, including some new singers with veterans of the Music in the Park group. The following singers performed in this Festival edition of Music in the Park: Ravi Jaggi from ASC Apt (Aapki aankhon mein kuchh), Aditya Srivastava from Mahagun Manor (Ye dosti on the mouth organ), Jaideep Lakhtakia from Elite Homz (Jeevan se bhari teri aankhen), Neeta Tambe from Mahagun Maestro (Pankh hote to ud aati re on the violin), Mridusmita Mandal from Overseas (Lag ja gale), Kapil Pandey from Alok Vihar I (folk song, Reliya bairan), Pankaj Sahastrabudhdhe from ASC (O hansini), and Pankaj Sharma from Meghdutam Apartment (Dooba dooba + O sanam).
Three new musicians performed in this event. Kiran Singh from Meghdutam Apt (Fazaa bhi hai jawan jawan), Aaruhi Agarwal, 7 yrs, from JM Aroma (Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko on the keyboard) and Pawan Sitara from ASC (Tumse meri lagan lagi). The program concluded with a group of singers singing Uthe sabke kadam.
Music lovers know this event is a regular stand-alone feature organized across the year and will be looking forward to listen to good music once the winter is behind us. Our next musical evening will welcome the spring season (Basant Panchami). This will be followed by a Special Holi edition of Music in the Park in March. See you all then.
