The GBM of MTPRWA was held on 15th Oct’23 on Malibu Country Club premises. It was headed by President Suresh Dhundia, along with his team who briefed the residents about the various measures being taken by the RWA to bring improvements the colony.
Niranjan Yadav, Vice President updated the residents on the development plans for the colony which include road carpeting, infra upgrade through various government agencies such as MCG, DHVBN & GMDA etc., bringing gas pipeline connection to the colony, STP pipeline for parks, getting club operational, getting the mandatory SWM plant built and horticultural beautification.
Treasurer Rahul Agarwal presented the audited internal review report and budget for the Year 23-24. It included the review of maintenance rates and the expected expenses for hiring temporary housekeeping staff till the stabilization of MCG services. The budget was approved with an absolute majority.
Upon suggestion by Air Commodore Minocha, it was decided to charge a parking fee of Rs.1000 for every third car onwards owned by a single household, for parking on roads. This too found approval by the residents.
The Joint Secretary Ms.Jyoti Raghavan spoke about the measures taken by the RWA to tackle the stray dog issue. These include sterilization, vaccinations, adoptions through Social Media, and temporary rehabilitation of aggressive dogs to Indielove, a shelter for dogs, to make them human-friendly.
The meeting thus concluded amicably and within the stipulated time.
