Mother’s Day Celebrations in Utopia

Mother’s Day is celebrated in honour of mother’s throughout the world. In India, it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year. To salute the Mothers of Eldeco Utopia, Mother’s Day was celebrated on the evening of Saturday, 13 May, with lots of fun and exciting performances. There was Antakshari for grandparents, skit, dances, singing, mother–child quiz and a display of paintings made by children on theme “Mother”. To give a festive feel to the programme, shopping and food stalls were put up and a live band performed popular numbers. The highlight of the evening was the mother–child dance performances celebrating the unconditional and lifelong bond between them.
