The sun god is showing all its colours and energy now. We wanted to have a short meeting in May but when it comes to Mothers’ Day , there is lot to be expressed . So we had beautiful compilation of lines by Janak Bhatia on Mother. It was so real and emotional. Most of us in Vividha are mothers and grandmothers and we all realise what it feels like to have a mother’s company and also the vacuum when we don’t have the luxury called MAA.
To lure our members to be punctual for the meeting, we take out two draws for punctuality. This time the prizes were grabbed by Krishna Kaul and Hridesh Singh.
We spoke about May / Labour Day and the importance of people who help us in day to day life. Our members got to know how and why this particular Day came into existence. Vandana Marodia recited a beautiful poem ‘ woh todti patthar, to express the pain and fight for survival of our helpers.
We had also invited a Vastu expert to enlighten our members about this ancient practice and its impact on our daily life. Our members had a few queries regarding the topic and the Q & A session was taken at the end.
Tambola, the all time favourite of any ladies’ gathering, was hosted by Mrs Gupta which was enjoyed by all.
In Vividha, our focus always remains to balance our monthly meetings by having a right mix of entertainment, learning, sharing and fun. So we dance, sing, organise demos and talks, have healthy competitions, play games, eat and meet our extended family.
It was delicious Paapri chaat , cup cakes and chilled lemon soda to call it a day.
