The last week of December 2024 was a frenzy of inaugurations in Vasant Vihar. Our MLA, Parmila Tokas, received her last tranche of local area development constituency funds. A total of approximately Rs. 2.15 crores was released for Vasant Vihar works. These covered backlane tiling, backlane lighting, steel benches, etc. in addition to 30 large dustbins for waste disposal.
All the works that were covered under these sanctions were inaugurated together at a ceremony held on the lawns of Kalyan Kendra. This also gave the residents an opportunity to engage with the MLA on the works done.
Alongside this, the Hon’ble MLA secured orders from the Delhi Jal Board for the replacement of worn-out sewage pipes. These works were inaugurated the next day in various blocks of Vasant Vihar.
