The recent rains that lashed the city have wreaked havoc in the sector. Trees and branches fell at many places causing damage to property. In D block a tree uprooted due to the strong winds and fell on two cars parked underneath causing considerable damage. The residents blame the concreting over the roots that weakens the roots resulting in the tree falling to the ground.
