On August 26, a family carnival was organised by RWA Sector 39 in association with an event management company at the Community Centre ; sector 39 where sector 39 residents and few from other sectors also participated .
Main attraction was various festive shopping stalls, Rajasthani decor, food stalls from famous Delhi 6 , games ,swings ,rides including other fun activities.
The carnival was filled with excitement with professional dance troop’s performances on Bollywood and Rajasthani theme.The other attraction of the event was Rakhi making competition for kids and residents of sector 39.The best 3 Rakhi’s made by participants were awarded .Aadauya win the first prize with Navya winning the second and Shaiyya the third prize.
Next on agenda was solo dance performances by kids wherein many kids performed with full enthusiasm. Sayesha Khanna from G block performed lively dance on song “Galti se mistake “and got 1 st prize. Mischa Katoch from A block had performed classical dance on song “Mohe Rang do Laal Nand ke Laal “ bagged the second prize. Shaiyra from B block got 3 rd prize.
There was also Ayurvedic and organic stalls wherein foods and oils from Himalayan region were bought in for pain relief, hair growth and other remedies.
Handmade cookies and biscuits made were loved by the visitors. Other stalls included stalls for beauty products , paintings and jewellery.
Program ended with food delicacies and prize distribution ceremony.
