A maid, walking home after work, was talking on her mobile when it was snatched from her by riders on a high-speed motorcycle. This incident occurred onAkashneem Marg just inside of Gate 3.
She screamed for help, and the guards stationed at the gate ran towards her. As they approached, the bikers threw her mobile on the road and sped away. The guards helped her, offering water as she was traumatized by the incident. Fortunately, she managed to recover her mobile, though it had been damaged in the process. However, the device was more damaged and she had to spend a considerable amount on repairs. Having an incident like this within our colony is a serious concern for all residents, especially those who enjoy walking. Recently, we have also encountered incidents of jewelry snatching.
