The foggy morning of 26 January began with the resonance of patriotic songs filling the air and adding a unique charm to the 75th Republic Day celebration in our society. Despite the weather conditions, the residents of the society gathered with enthusiasm and patriotism at 10 am near the club house.
At 10.30 am, the tricolour national flag was unfurled by the President of our society, D.K. Mishra, accompanied by the national anthem. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Mr. Mishra delivered a speech emphasising the significance of this milestone Republic Day and the importance of democratic values, unity, and progress in our society. His speech emphasized the need for collective efforts to overcome challenges and foster a harmonious and inclusive community.
To further commemorate this special occasion, the society’s children took center stage with their awe-inspiring performances. Under the guidance of Mili Dey and Pooja Bhayana, the children showcased their talent through patriotic dance numbers. Despite the biting cold on that day, the unwavering commitment of the children to showcase their performances was truly commendable – Hats off to their resilience and passion. In a remarkable display of musical talent, the children presented an orchestra, a first-ever endeavour taught by Sangeeta Goel, on the song “छोड़ो कल की बातें. The harmonious fusion of instruments such as the tabla, guitar, and keyboard created a mesmerizing melody, symbolizing the harmony and unity. Adding to the patriotic fervor, the children beautifully sang a group song titled “शाबाशियाँ” under the guidance of Ms. Mili. The lyrics echoed with pride and encouragement.
In a heartwarming moment during thecelebration, a young child Revaan Jain, merely 4 years of age, with broken language sang the national anthem, inspiring the entire audience to rise as one and join in. These few seconds creating a magical and unforgettable experience that reaffirmed the unbreakable bond among citizens.
Amidst the celebration, a moment was taken to appreciate the unsung heroes of our society. The best performers from the housekeeping, maintenance, and security departments were recognized and rewarded for their dedicated service. Their contribution plays an integral role in creating a safe and harmonious environment for us all.
As the event concluded, the residents came together, sharing warm conversations and basking in the glow of patriotic spirit. People, proudly adorning themselves in patriotic colours, captured the essence of the day by posing for selfies with friends and families.
