Noida police recently started Mission Shakti campaign for the security of women. It was inaugurated in our sector last month by young and vibrant IPS Preeti Yadav.
Under this project, beat officer Monika Vashishth (9711981603) was assigned to our sector. Women can call her for any security related issue. Over and above this Savita Saxena (98914 81377) was made Shakti Didi of the sector, which means, she can help resolve issues by mediating between residents and the beat officer. Residents are requested to save Monika and Savita Saxena’s number on their Cell Phones to be used in case of any security related issue. IPS Preeti Yadav also informed that the previous No. 100 is now 112 (National Emergency Helpline), 1090 (Women Power Line) is for crime against women. She also informed that women should not fear using this number since her identity will be kept a secret. 1098 (Child Helpline) can be used for Child Abuse (Physical or emotional). In case of some medical emergency, this no can be also be used by children to get help. 1930 (Cyber Help Line).
