Holiday Club celebrates Christmas with all the pomp and show. Like every year, the colony residents had lot of fun enjoying Christmas at the Holiday Club. the club was beautifully decorated in Christmassy colours of red white and green in the front lawns, the entrance was spectacular and the lobby was also decorated as per theme of the day. The members and guests were busy clicking selfies and photos as the decoration was very eye-catching. As usual, a buggy ride for children was arranged on the Club road. But some senior citizens too had the fun of the ride, which could not be missed by the walkers on the road.Bumpy ride was the main attraction for the kids. The anchor of the show added some fizz to the show by making the occasion more enjoyable, by coaxing the ladies, gents and children to play games and winning prizes, mostly chocolate boxes. I got a little late, otherwise I would have tried playing and winning. Dancing on singers’ foot tapping songs was an added attraction. Some stalls like readymade ladies garments, play stalls attracted quite a few enthusiasts. People enjoyed good food and the bright sun- shine along with all the activities, including posing with the clowns happily. Some people object to the celebration of Christmas, for which our P. M.declared 26th December as ohj cky fnol, on which day Guru Govind Singhji’s four sons sacrificed their lives, two younger sons , Jorawar Singh & Fateh Singh. One should not forget the sacrifice of the young boys to save Hinduism.
