Incidents of Builders menace continue to get reported with alarming regularity from all over the colony. In two recent instances that were reported from E Block, the Builders have unauthorizedly encroached upon the back lanes of the houses under construction. While the Builder has created an illegal structure in the back lane for the stay of the construction workers in the first instance, the other case pertains to use of the back lane by the Builder for carrying out the incidental construction activities and leaving it littered with the construction waste. It is time to regulate the Builders activities in the colony.
