Trinity Towers celebrated the second Saturday of September with a lively musical program in their clubhouse, featuring a fun-filled game of Antakshari.
Four teams, each comprising five participants, were formed by the residents and aptly named “SAA,” “RE,” “GAA,” and “MAA.” The event was structured into five exciting rounds:
1. Round 1: Traditional Antakshari, where teams sang songs starting with the last letter of the previous team’s song.
2. Round 2: Teams had to incorporate a word drawn from a prefilled list, singing a minimum of one and a maximum of three songs featuring that word in the mukhda (chorus).
3. Round 3: Participants identified songs from their signature tunes.
4. Round 4: Teams listened to the antara (verse) and had to identify the mukhda.
5. Round 5: The Jodi round, where teams sang songs featuring a drawn pair of singers and actor.
The atmosphere was vibrant and engaging, with audience members also showcasing their skills and joining in the fun. Team “GAA” emerged victorious, followed closely by Team “RAA.”
Overall, it was a delightful evening filled with laughter, participation, and excitement, complemented by delicious hot sizzling samosas and tea, along with the chance to win exciting prizes.
