Mehendi Lage Haathon Mein

Karva Chauth celebration begins with applying of intricate mehendi designs on hands. The darker the colour it leaves, the deeper the bonding of the married couple it indicates… goes the saying for the ladies, on this day. Mehendiwalas were arranged by the welfare teams of the sectors and societies. In Grand Omaxe, there were two days of enthusiasm and excitement among the ladies to have hands done with mehendi designs. On 18 and 19 October, for 2 days prior to the Karva Chauth on 20 October. the central park saw multiple hands done with traditional mehendi designs. The mehendiwalas also had the option of writing the name of one’s spouse; rates varied depending on the design and efforts, but nobody minded on this merry occasion.
