November 9th Onwards
Meghdutam Rangmanch invites apartment AoAs and residents of Noida to participate in the forthcoming cultural festival being organized across two weekends in November. Here’s a brief about the content.
Pleasant autumn evenings will host concerts with performances by amateurs from within the community as well by professional artists. This will include Music in the Park, light classical vocal and dance performances, folk songs and dances, group dances in all genres, festival of skits and short plays, etc.
Events during the day will include workshops (or rather funshops), for adults and children both, in the field of art, including an exhibition, vocal and instrumental music by professional and amateur artists, environmental and nature-based workshops such as a tree walk in Meghdutam Park and Build a Nest, craft based such as pottery and calligraphy, a Collectors’ Exhibition, a grander Daryaganj and special storytelling event, etc.
The etcetera (etc.) indicates that festival events are in the planning stage. The objective is to offer you and other residents of Noida a fun-filled, entertaining and enlightening experience within the four to five days of the festival.
We invite our culturally inclined readers to offer us suggestions on two fronts:
One, is there any other event or workshop you’d like Meghdutam Rangmanch to organize for you? Would you like to give us feedback on the quality of previous programs?
Two, if you know of any musician of good caliber, an artist, sculptor, or theatre person, do introduce them to us. After all, this is a festival of the community, by the community, and for the community. We are all in it together to build a vibrant community surrounded by and immersed in a cultural ambience.
