We had a very productive meeting with the Councillor. The key takeaways are: 1. An estimate of about 50 lakhs has been prepared by the Councillor for street lighting in the colony, which is about 130 new poles with all fittings and infrastructure, and has been presented to Harsh Malhotraji . Follow- up meeting will be done in a day or so.
2. ‘The work order for dense carpeting of C block roads is ready; the contractor has been lined up as well. Only awaiting dry weather to begin work.
3. ‘The Councillor has assured us that new lighting for C block parks will be sanctioned soon from their local area funds. We had requested for new lighting in the two parks.
4. ‘The Councillor has assigned one safai karamcharis for Ashoka Park road, who will join in a couple of days. One more karamchari will soon be assigned for internal roads in A block, where currently there is a shortage.
5. ‘ Four Maalis have been assigned on the Councillor’s instructions to NFC parks, we have received their names and their assigned park for coordination by the Parks subcommittee.
6. MCD maintenance department is going to put a team together for backlane cleaning. The RWA team will continue with cleaning some backlanes and the balance will be handled by the MCD. We are working out the list of backlanes with Rajat, MCD.
