Prakash Singh (SDF 3C) met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 29. He presented him a copy of his latest book ‘Unforgettable Chapters’. During his meeting he had a brief recap of the major events of his service career and also the nearly three decades of post-retirement. Later PM Narendra Modi tweeted: ‘It was indeed wonderful to have met one of the most distinguished police officers of our nation, Shri Prakash Singh Ji. His passion towards strengthening India’s security apparatus is noteworthy.’ The book was formally launched at the India International Centre on Sep 1 by Justice Madan Lokur.
