A meeting with the Directors of Imperial Club management (Cherish Hospitality & Mezzaz / Lounge was held in their office on Mon 27 Nov 2023 by Federation of RWAs of Vasant Kunj along with neighbouring RWA Presidents.
Following issues were discussed :
1) Sound decibels DJ / acoustics /timing etc to be addressed (Noise Pollution); 2) Traffic congestion, No parking on pavements; 3) No Baraat congregation and movement on road (after the 10th December ’23 from next bookings); 4) No Fireworks / firecrackers (Air & Noise Pollution); 5) Collective complain for Encroachments / kiosks on pavement on club side to govt agencies.
The contract for the next 10 days for bookings for weddings etc have been done so they may not be able to make any changes into the schedule. After that they have reassured compliance to all norms discussed.
Both Cherish & Mezzaz/ lounge will immediately take action on sound decibels etc and had requested us to give feedback so they can take cognizance and address the loopholes. Look forward to compliance and cooperation as discussed.
