A few residents from G, H Block & Silver Oaks met the GMDA CEO A Sreenivas ( IAS ) regarding the paving of footpaths & fencing from Bristol Chowk to Kushboo Chowk & removal of hawkers & malba from the same area. There has been immense malba lying on the sides, leading to lot of dust blowing away and creating a big havoc for the walkers.
The meeting was very fruitful with the GMDA CEO & he assured us to take immediate action on the issues.
The delegation was led by Parimal Bardhan & the following joined in. Mr. & Mrs. Jai Shanker, Kiran Gupta from Silver Oaks, Mohin Bangia from G Block, U S Sarogi, TPS Punia & Rahul Chandola from H Block. We are immensely grateful to Sunil Kohli for the initiative though he couldn’t be the part of the meeting and the residents who took the time to meet the CEO.
It was noted, meanwhile, that the new CEO of GMDA has taken up the office. As a follow-up and to maintain the momentum of our citizens’ activities, HBRC has given the incoming CEO a letter to provide an update on the issues’ resolution.
