28.1% Voter Turnout From DLF-1
The election for Ward 23 of DLF Phase 1, MCG (Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon), on 2nd March 2025 has attracted a diverse group of candidates, each with their vision for the development of the area. There were 7 candidates for DLF Phase 1 namely Rama Rani Rathee, Kunal Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Pankaj Yadav, Deepak Yadav, Balram, and Zile Singh.
Some of the prominent candidates who contested for MCG elections are as follows:-
Rama Rani Rathi contested as an independent candidate from Ward 23. Her office at 49, Arjun Marg has been serving the public for the past 20 years. With vast experience, she has twice served as a Municipal Councillor. She is accessible, approachable, and well-equipped to address public concerns. Pankaj Yadav, another strong contender, is positioning himself as a candidate who is deeply invested in the growth of DLF Phase 1. He has highlighted his dedication to addressing local issues like traffic congestion and the need for enhanced healthcare facilities. Yadav has also committed to working on expanding green spaces and creating more community centres where residents can gather and engage. His campaign resonates with voters looking for development and growth in the area.

The voter turnout for the MCG election on March 2, 2025, from DLF Phase 1 were 2,475 voters out of a total of 8,800 eligible voters. The voter turnout was approximately 28.1% from DLF phase 1.
The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) elections held on March 2, 2025, recorded a voter turnout of 41.8%. This is notably lower compared to previous municipal elections, which saw turnouts of 63.3% in 2011 and 55.7% in 2017. The elections were conducted across seven municipal corporations, including Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, and Yamuna Nagar. The results are scheduled to be announced on March 12,2025
