MB Resident Nandini Lodha’s Journey As An Artist

Nandini Lodha is a young budding artist living in Maharani Bagh, 2 Park Avenue. Born on the 25th of February, 2000, she did her schooling at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

She had no inkling that one day she would become an artist. She aspired to study psychology.

Her journey, as an artist, was inspired by her mother, Rachna Lodha. She grew up seeing her mother dabble in art. Hence started her journey as an artist; she did her BFA at Kingston University London. She is deeply connected with nature and her surroundings. Her artworks have an intrinsic connection with human emotions too.

She has opened her studio, The Adept Art Studio, in E-153, sector 41, Noida. Nandini’s favourite mediums are etching, mixed media, thread, and bright colours. Pen and ink work gives her total freedom.

Fun-loving and experimental, Nandini is very open to trying different mediums. While in London, she dabbled in experimental works in cloth and thread.

Recently she sold five works to a hotel owner in Goa called the Vilmaris Resorts. She made the artwork, keeping in mind the requirements of the buyer. Interestingly, she has added the floor numbers in the painting, as each painting was to be stationed at the landing of each floor.

The journey ahead is long, with many ups and downs. We all wish Nandini Lodha the very best for the road ahead.
