Let me begin by asking all readers this question – Who makes our everyday life a breeze?? (Now, I know what you are thinking, it’s a bit of a one-way conversation here, so let’s just answer it in our minds). If most of you guessed – it’s our fantastic support staff, then ding, ding, ding! You’re absolutely right!! I can almost feel you all nodding in agreement 🙂 Can you even begin to imagine how would we be without them? Trust me, it’s a mental journey nobody would want to take (unless you enjoy migraines and chaos, that is)!
Living in a condominium means relying on a network of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to make our lives easier and more comfortable. These people: the housekeeping staff, the guards, the gardeners, plumbers, and electricians – help us by maintaining our surroundings clean, organised, safe, and pleasant for us. They handle garbage disposal, enhance and maintain the green cover, and also assist us with our various unexpected household mini crises – from fixing leaky taps, to when your AC is not working on a hot summer day etc, etc. Their efforts not only keep society running smoothly but also enhance the quality of our life in countless ways. In recognition of their contributions, Silver Oaks celebrated ‘May Day’ by distributing chaach (buttermilk) and biscuits to the society staff. This gesture was a small token of appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and continuous efforts. Several residents graciously volunteered to distribute these items to them.
Mrs. Raksha Mehta (one of the senior residents) also donated earthen pot matkas. These matkas were provided to guards and maalis so that they could have access to cool water during the hot summer days, ensuring they stayed hydrated and comfortable while they worked.
Hope we all can continue to recognise and appreciate their efforts, not just on special occasions, but 24/7, 365 days a year because while their contributions often go unnoticed, but their impact on our lives is profound. They are the silent champions and keepers of our sanity.. !!!
