A monthly get together was organied by the Senior Citizen association of Maxblis Whitehouse on December 30. The programme sta-rted at 6 in the evening at the Club House.
Birthday of Jagdish Nagpal , P K Agarwal, Rashmi Gadi, R K Aggrawal, Kusum Lata Singhal and Sanjiv Lal were celebrated.
Wedding anniversaries of Ratan Singh & Shashi Singh and P K Agrawal & Mrs Agrawal were celebrated.
We live in high-rise societies and are connected with other residents of our apartment. We know each other’s daily lives and day-to-day struggles. We meet, greet and talk to each other about what’s going on in our houses, their houses and the neighbouring houses. However, in spite of our knowledge about our surroundings, at times, we are unaware that there are some people around us who are actually facing some severe problems in their lives and require help. A senior citizens club is one such initiative where old people meet, catch up and discuss their problems with each other. Its our way of connecting! And its heartening to see how more and more people are coming forward to join our tribe!
