To commemorate Navy Day eve on 4 Dec a Maritime Museum was opened by Commodore Ranjit Rai at his residence basement C-443 to commemorate the Indian Navy’s missile attack on Karachi by OSA Class Missile Boats in Op Trident in 1971. A function was organized on the occasion attended by Vice Admiral Suresh Berry, Chief of Personnel Services on behalf of CNS Admiral Hari Kumar and Ankita Mall on behalf of Meenakshi Lekhi MP South Delhi Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs. Ankita Mall released Commodore Ranjit Rai’s illustrated mini coffee table book, “The Indian Navy @75 reminiscing the Journey”. Compiled by Subashini Sood
