Man Ki Baat Programme and Charity Drive Held In Sector 61

Forest And Environment Minister Graces The Occasion

The screening of the 100th episode of the Man ki Baat program of The Prime Minister of India was held in sector 61 on April, 30, 2023. The venue of the program was the club house of Royal Tower society. Krishanapal Malik, the Minister for Forest and Environment, Government Of Uttar Pradesh was the chief guest on the occasion.

The venue was decorated with colourful balloons and a large screen, projector and speakers were set up at the venue to enable the residents to watch the program. The residents of the sector along with the chief guest sat and watched the program with much enthusiasm and attention and carefully listened to what their Prime Minister had to say. After the program the chief guest, Krishanpal Malik was felicitated by the residents and senior citizens of the sector. The Minister interacted with the residents on various issues related to environment and pollution and took suggestions from the residents on how to improve our environment and reduce pollution. The residents of the sector also discussed with the Minister various issues of the sector and city. Krishanpal Malik listened to all these problems patiently and assured the residents of quick and stern action. The Minister thanked the residents for their support and appreciated the organisers for their efforts. Towards the end of the program, a charity drive was also conducted wherein lunch boxes were distributed to the maids and house helps working in the society. The distribution was done at the hands of the chief guest and the lunch boxes were sponsored by a group of residents. The chief guest appreciated this gesture of the residents and motivated others also to regularly conduct such charity drives. Residents could be seen eager to get their pictures clicked with the Minister and they were not disappointed.  After the interactive session the residents were treated to hot tea and crispy samosas.
