In a major drive launched by our councillor Anita Sandeep Baisoya, on special request by residents, challans were issued to builders and residents for dumping malba, encroachment, and water wastage, especially in the backlanes of the colony. A lot of complaints were received by the councillor’s office regarding malba and dirty back lanes. Anita Baisoya with MCD sanitation and maintenance staff visited back lanes starting from A block and authorised the staff to issue challans to erring residents. This process of challan will continue. Residents are requested to get malba/encroachment removed near their houses. Not only is it to prevent us as residents from saving ourselves from fines, but it is our moral responsibility to keep our colony clean.
