Make & Break Promises Quickly

This year, my husband announced that he is going to observe fast on Karwa-Chauth day? Okay, for whom? I ask casually. Pat came the reply, ‘For myself’ Isn’t the fasting for the husband? Wel , I am THE HUSBAND. ‘Baat Toh  Sahi Hai’ ….I encouraged him to join me, wondering, maybe, he is losing confidence on my fasting ability, so has taken the plunge to keep me ‘Sada Suhagan’ or he is inspired by the younger lot, where the couples fast together, for each other. But not so surprisingly, he chickened out, in the morning, leaving me, to do the needful. Contributed by Meenakshi Jain
