Major Safety issues in Y block : A black creta has been observed doing reiki and stealing the vehicles of the residents. They enter from Gate no 1 and once the small gate near the shiv mandir (Y block) opens in the morning – they flee with the vehicles from that gate- 2 episodes have taken place back to back – 1st episode: On 11th Feb morning around 5 am they were seen trying to open a white creta but since the owner saw, he immediately called up 100 and complaint was registered. The police came, registered the complaint and went off. Then again at 6.15 am they stole another Creta and drove off from the shiv mandir gate. That means they were hiding in the Y block premises only . 2nd episode Next morning 12th feb at 6.15 am 2 boys entered from gate no 1 and took away a cycle and drove away from shiv mandir gate. There was no guard at Shiv Mandir Y block gate. This is a major security lacks. No action being taken yet. This is absoltely shocking and one wonders whats the use of CCTV cameras, the Hauz Khas area is covered with CCTV either govt or private. Still we are helpless. Police never takes action and no complain is registered for cycle theft. Even my cycle got stolen few months back.
