Under the mystical night sky, Mahashivratri blooms as a celestial celebration of Lord Shiva’s cosmic dance. Chanting echoes through the air as devotees offer milk, honey, and bilva leaves, seeking blessings and transcendence.
The night pulses with sacred energy, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness and the soul’s awakening.
Unlike Most Festivals, Mahashivratri is celebrated at night. Lotus Boulevard also upholds the festival by having a pooja in the temple. While maybe not as vibrant or extravagant as some other festivals, that best represents what Mahashivratri stands for.
The festival is, after all, a solemn event notable for its introspective focus, fasting, meditation on Shiva and Self-study! All in all, Mahashivratri has and always will be a notable festival where people come and lose themselves in the Chant.
With the aim of showing the overcoming over darkness and ignorance, the festival truly helps us look back in introspection and provides a new perspective not clouded by our ignorance.
