The month of May was one of planning and anticipation at Mahagun Maple. The ladies were charged up with plans to organize the first meeting of the Maple Ladies Club! The celebrations were finally held on the last Saturday of the month and began with the cake cutting ceremony. A rambunctious round of tambola (housie) and a number of indoor party games set the stage for a fun and laughter filled afternoon. A mouth-watering spread of cool cucumber sandwiches, paneer rolls and rasmalai with excellent tea was a fitting end to the get together. The highlight of the function of course, was the infectious positivity, good cheer and bonhomie witnessed amongst the ladies, young and not so young, which truly made the event a memorable one.
