Maha Shivratri Celebration In Our Sector, Shiv-Parvati’s Wedding Procession And 108 Shivlings Rudraabhishek

With a garland of snakes around his neck, ashes on his body, Shiv Ji was the groom. Shiva’s bhajans were resonating everywhere. Devotees were moving forward, immersed in the colours of Lord Bhole Nath, while singing bhajans. This was the scene of Shiv Baraat which started from sector 40Community centre  entered sector 39 and passed through all the eight blocks of the sector 39 till Sanatam mandir sector 39 in which children, elders, youth, women, all participated in the Shiv-Parvati wedding with full enthusiasm.

A huge crowd gathered and participated from different sectors in Noida to see the Shiv Baraat taken out under the aegis of the followers of Acharya Atul Krishna  of Shiv Sharanam Jagrati Manch and Mandir samiti president  V K Jain, Shashi Singh ( general secretary), other members of mandir samiti team and and honourable members of Dhiv Jagran Manch Sheela Agarwal, Pawan Agarwal, Savita Phogat, Sandeep Phogat, Vandana Khanna , Sunaina Bhutani etc

The devotees were walking dancing to the tunes of DJ and band music. Behind them were dancing artists and a model of Shivling, band party and horse riders. Along with this, a live tableau was also moving. In the middle of the tableau, Bhajan singers of the group and dancing baraatis were also walking!

As soon as the Shiv baraat reached Sector 39 Mandir Bhakts sprinkled flowers on Lord Shiva in a traditional way. After this, the program of Jaimala of Shiv-Parvati was completed. This lively event signifies the cosmic union of Lord Shiva & Parvati .

During this, the organizers organized a bhandaara and distributed prasad among the devotees.

The major ritual of this day is Rudra Abhishek where 108 shivlings were bathed with scared substances like milk , water , ghee, honey, flowers , etc while chanting the Vedic mantras. This powerful ritual is believed to bring blessings, remove negative energies, and fulfill wishes.

After the marriage,  Shiv Sahastradhara Abhishek was done and four prasads were done in which all the devotees of the sector remained present till the end, they took prasad and went to their respective homes. The grand event and puja was well planned and nicely organised by Mandir Committee team and Savita Phogat ji , Vandana ji & Sheela ji . The enthusiasm and enthusiastic participation of the people in organizing this grand devotional program was giving the message that the whole sector is a family and everyone is its integral member, it became a very exemplary scene!
