While organizing “Krishan Lila” on Aug. 24, at the B.M. Munjal, Arya Samaj auditorium, Saurabh Bhardwaj had promised that he, as the Minister for Art, Culture & Languages, Delhi Govt., shall organize many more cultural activities in the G K constituency, especially since a world-class auditorium, with a capacity of 450+ persons, is now available. Keeping his word, a series of programs, like “Kavi Samelan” and “Ram Lila,” were held in the last five months.
The latest in the series was a magic show on 24th Dec. 24. World-famous magician Samrat Shankar held two shows on 24th Dec. under the aegis of Delhi Govt.’s Sahitya Kala Parishad. Both the shows were jam-packed, & residents were seen occupying the staircase too. Next in the series was a musical night/gazal evening on 3rd Jan. 2025 at the same venue. Radhika Chopra mesmerized a house full of residents through her melodious rendition of gazals. The accompanying singer was Vineet Satpal. A lot of appreciation is pouring in for the Delhi government and Saurabh Bhardwaj for organizing these programs in GK 1. Entry is always free.
