A two-day summer camp was organised by Unnati (a school of learning) to constructively engage their students and teach them valuable life skills. The workshop was conducted by Meenakshi Jha, a philanthropist and also an artist by profession.
On the first day of the session, Meenakshi Ma’am taught the Unnati children to paint and design plastic bottles by using acrylic colours. Those bottles could later be used as planters. The next day, the students were taught to recycle their old T-shirts by using stencil painting. The children were thrilled to bits while learning this new art form and their joy was boundless when they gave new look to their old and unused items in their houses.
Creativity gives birth to innovative ideas and when these ideas are implemented and executed a rainbow of innovation looms up on this earth.
