And Happy Birthday All Combined Together @Vividha
For last many years, Vividha members were having no meeting in the month of June. This was done to avoid the extreme hot weather and also keeping in mind the summer break. But our ladies having their birthdays in June did not seem to be happy. So we planned a special session this time in Vividha. We invited the members with their children/ grandchildren for a special Madhubani session. The thought was to teach the basics of Madhubani painting so that children could make the Father’s Day card themselves and wish their fathers.
I took an hour long session which was equally enjoyed by children and their grandmothers. They took keen interest in this beautiful and colourful art form from Mithila region of Bihar.
And to our surprise more than fifty members were present. Those who were accompanied by their grandchildren thanked Vividha and requested for more such sessions on various topics.
Janak Bhatia spoke very passionately about the role of father in one’s life. She also narrated some beautiful emotional lines.
The world environment day also falls on 5th June. Not for any particular day, but the world environment and pollution control is very important every day.
Birthday ladies were very happy as they received their gifts and abundant wishes and blessings.
Chilled buttermilk with tasty snacks , arranged by Mrs Kamal Gupta, was the need of the hour after an engrossing session.
We, at Vividha, always try to arrange and organise something interesting for our members. We have a close knit family where we share ideas / recipes/ tips/ knowledge and benefit from each other.
