It seems that unless there is either an election or some intriguing agenda resident members don’t bother to come to the general body meeting of the RWA.
Prez DD Mishra opened the meeting & said: 1. A new lease agreement for the club land has been received. Non-resident members’ impact has been reduced. RWA will continue to be the force; 2. Club and RWA individual registrations have been renewed for 5 Years; 3. 5 electricity Transformers of advanced configuration are being commissioned which will enhance the electricity supply in the sector; 4. We are trying to strengthen the security; 5. RWA financial position needs improvement.
Mr Mattu (HNo 334) narrated the story how his car was hit and damaged by a speeding BMW. He was not happy the way he was treated by the RWA and complained about the sloppy and badly dressed new security at the gate.
Mr Bajaj complained about a boy who rides his motor cycle very rashly. He also complained about the acoustics of the hall. He recommended two-year term for the RWA. He requested that the club should also compulsorily have a midterm General Body meeting.
President DD Mishra requested the house to consider increase in RWA subscription to 18,000 per month. The settled increase in subscription by 3000 a month.
Inderjit Sial presented his reservations against the new lease deed (see cover story). Prez DD Mishra took his paper and promised to send his points for clarification to Noida Authority.
The meeting ended with Tea, Coffee and Samosas.
