P-2 had organized a vibrant food fair in their front lawns on the evening of 29th March. Capt. Sanjay Gupta, a resident of Windsor Court, had shared a video of the fair, inviting everyone to visit and help themselves to the good food. I watched the fun and frolic on their lawns while I was on my evening walk downstairs.
I first noticed them at our main gate. Three beautiful ladies…handing out hot cooked food in generous quantities to the all the security guards at the main gate. The hot food was being transported in a shopping cart – the kind we have in our tower lobbies. With a nod of appreciation, I moved on, thinking that it must be something they had extra and were distributing thus.
To my surprise, after another round, this time inside Hamilton Court premises, I found the same trio of ladies still handing out hot food to the Hamilton Court guards on duty. I stopped in my tracks, walked back, and voiced my appreciation for their thoughtful gesture. Upon enquiry, it turned out that there were 2 generations in that trio, handing out hot food from their “fair” share to all the security guards on duty in all three complexes…WC, RP-2, and HC.
The idea was that of the mom, Mrs. Arya, and she was being patiently helped by her daughters – Kamna (elder) and Abha (younger). What a lovely gesture, I thought! One we could adopt in all three condos if we aren’t already. We do have many condo gatherings, after all. May Mrs. Arya, Kamna and Abha keep spreading joy to everyone around, and may we learn as well.
