When most of us bought our flats in Boulevard, a major attraction, along with many other features, was the provision for two swimming pools: one indoor and the other, outdoor. While the indoor swimming pool has been functioning well all this while, the outdoor pool on the first floor of the Clubhouse was virtually abandoned by the builder as the company faced insolvency.
The outdoor pool was used for Chhath pooja by the residents for the last couple of years, but it never functioned as a swimming pool.
It was on top of the list of many of us who had been lured by the promotional videos. The present Board members of AOA, led by President Prabhakar Bhardwaj, made completion of the incomplete work as one of their prime objectives and relentlessly pursued and convinced RP, Mr Devender Singh, to get it completed.
Finally, with the support and help provided by Mr. Singh, the open swimming pool was renovated and inaugurated by RP Mr. Devender Singh along with Dr Rajkumar Ramrakhiyani, Director, SMV/ Goldstar, the proposed RA of GGPPL on May 22, 2024.
