Keeping in mind the opportunity to forge new connections, strengthen bonds and get to know neighbours in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, as also to inculcate the sportsman and competitive spirit amongst the residents of Boulevard, friendly competitive matches in the events mentioned below were organised during the month of January.
Table Tennis – The competitive matches were played by the LB Men 40+ years on January 5. The teams were formed on the basis of a lucky draw combining two as a team. A total of 26 matches were played before declaring the duo of Prakhar Rastogi & Deepak Purvar as the number one team and the duo of Indu Bhaskar & Abhisekh Law securing the second position.
Basketball – There was great enthusiasm visible amongst children in the age group of 8 to 15 years. This excitement in the air was because it was for the first time that any inhouse tourney was organised under the auspices of AOA5.
The teams were formed from 8 to 12 years (Junior category) and 12 to 15 years (Senior category).
The Winners were Arpita, Vihaan Chaudhary, Arjun & Anay in the Junior Category and Vihaan, Peehu & Mayra in the Senior Category. The Runners up were Vartika, Atharva, Yuvaan & Vardhan in the Junior Category and Tvisha, Viraj & Samarth in the Senior Category.
Box Cricket Match – For the Cricket enthusiasts, box cricket matches were played on January 19. These were played among the teams comprising six players in each team. Team Lotus Boulevard Killers demonstrated skill, stamina and strength, and emerged the top team whereas team Lotus Boulevard Pinnacle led by Sanjeev Bansal clinched the runners up title.
