As the winter chill embraced our surroundings, the warmth of community and tradition ignited our spirits as Apex Athena celebrated Lohri in its premise on January 13. Gathered around a crackling bonfire, everyone shared laughter, stories, and the joyous rhythm of dhol music. Lohri, a festival deeply rooted in agrarian culture, marked a moment of gratitude for the bountiful harvest and a collective embrace of the season’s festivities.
The entire pooja procession was carried out by Mrs. and Mr. Ranjeet, as resident of the society. A special mention must be made of the president of the AWS team, Sushant Yadav and our dedicated maintenance team, whose unwavering efforts played a pivotal role in bringing our Lohri celebration to life. They worked really hard to set everything up – from the bonfire setup to making sure everything ran smoothly. Also thanking their efforts towards fire safety measures, that had everyone have a fantastic time dancing and having fun. The dhol played, and everyone, young and old, joined in the festivities.
In the flickering glow of the bonfire, the residents came together to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, ushering in the vibrant energy that Lohri brings to our homes and hearts each year.
