Lohri, the first festival of the year, marks the beginning of the harvest season and the end of winter. It is a joyous occasion for Punjabis and others around the world. Lohri was celebrated by the Glow club on the 14th of January 25′.
The function started with lighting of the bonfire with punjabi songs and dance on dhol, yummy and delicious pakoras tea, saag and makki ki roti with gajar halwa.This was followed by fun and engaging games with prices that brought all the members together and created a lively atmosphere. It was the perfect way to welcome new members in the club, celebrating community, culture, and friendship!
