Lohri is majorly celebrated in Northern India for the Winter Solstice.
It is celebrated on the 13th of January every year in Exclusive Floors, Princeton and Wellington.
The residents gathered for puja which was performed by Pandit ji at Exclusive floors.
The residents at Exclusive floors, Wellington and Princeton offered prayers to the God of Fire and also offered peanuts, popcorn and jaggery into their respective bonfires organised at the Communities. Fire symbolises the eradication of negativity and the welcoming of positive energy.
The offerings made during Lohri bring prosperity and good fortune to the households.
Thanksgiving day to the Gods, for their grace & blessing.
Sunder Mundariyee Tera kaun Vichhara!
Dhol music, Bhangra and Gidda add to the celebrations on the Chilly Evening People danced to the beats of the dhol at Priceton Wellington and Exclusive floors respectively.
