The New Year kicked off with the neighbourhood coming together for festivities. Like the past many years, the New Punjabi Mahasabha of DLF Phase 2 celebrated Lohri this year with co-residents. The festival was celebrated the weekend before the designated date of the festivities on January 6, 2024, at the Community Centre. The event began at 7 pm with a full Punjabi pomp & show of folk artists welcoming the audience with dhol and ‘Jaago’. All stayed completely engaged with dances, games and lucky draws till way past 11 pm while enjoying the lavish spread dinner with cocktails. Special gifts were given away to the 10 ladies who won the fun games.
