The Senior Citizens Club organized a Lohri festival on 13th January in the complex, in which all the residents were invited. As it became dark, drums started playing in the evening. The auspicious bonfire for Lohri saw the residents stand around it. When it was lit and the flames leapt high, there was warmth and joy in the air. The essentials of this occasion, revari, gajak, peanuts and other such items were dedicated to the fire and were also eaten as prasad. Children and elders all enjoyed the celebration by singing and performing Bhangra. Such events connect us with our traditions.
