The ATS One Hamlet signages needed a redo. As the first step to this, AOA BOM decided to create a logo for One Hamlet. It was decided to utilise the immense talent we have within our society for this. Thus, a logo design competition was launched.
Residents were given certain parameters to adhere to (size, resolution etc) & a last date assigned for submissions. Participants also had to provide a rationale for their designs. AOA received five entries out of which they had a tough time choosing a winner.
Gurashima Kaur (8023)’s design was selected as the winning entry. In her own words, ‘The new logo depicts the soul of the society. It is a combination of both a modern look and an imperial semblance. The logo also reflects the domineering presence of ATS One Hamlet in Noida.”
Gurashima further explains the design. “It shows three buildings that resemble the high-rise towers of the society. The illustrated buildings are a combination of the letter H that stands for Hamlet and a modified number 1 for One.”
The new logo will be used henceforth for identifying ATS One Hamlet.
The winner felicitation was carried out during the Christmas Carnival in the clubhouse on 25 December. Gurashima received a certificate & a hamper from the AOA President, Alok Sahdev.
