Giving Wings to Young Talent
On June 30, 2023 the children of Sunshine Helios participated in a fireless/ no flame cooking competition. They made sandwiches, salads, chocolate cookies, cakes, ice creams etc. The presentation of the dishes by little children was a sight to behold. Arnav, Aarush, Amishi,Aanya, Tanmay. Avehi, Vedika, Ekankshi, Vedansh, Ivaan, Mishika, Naina, Anishika, Shaurya, Kabir and Eishi took part in the competition and received their “Little Master chef” trophies.
Cooking is no more the work of a hired cook or housewives. It’s a life skill that everyone should learn. And why not catch them young. Children should learn to cook. It’s a basic life skill, after all, being comfortable enough in the kitchen to pull a few ingredients into a simple meal. Cooking is a source of pride for the children who can take care of themselves in this way, or feed a friend or sibling. They’re capable of cooking, they know what to do, and they can get it done.
